Tortola (British Virgin Islands)

In November 2004 Casey, Tanis, Anne-Marie, Rob, Wade and I went sailing for 7 days in the BVI. Here is our boat the Calypso Quean (still not sure of the significance of the spelling of Queen..can anybody help us out?). She was a 38 foot catamaran. We managed to sail her without a captain and were quite proud of ourselves especially when our only mishap was the loss of a propellor. Well there had to be something that went wrong on our maiden voyage!

Well we were able to navigate to the "Indians", a famour snorkelling and diving spot in B.V.I. Parked the boat, went for a dive and then had a barbeque off the back of our boat for lunch. What a life!

Calypso Quean to Cooper Island Beach Club, do you read me? Reservation needed for 6...over and out!

Parking for the night. Does it remind you of an RV park, except with water?

On the last day we rented a 4X4 and toured Tortola. The roads were terrible, but the views were fantastic. Here is a look down on Soper's Hole where we rented our boat earlier in the week.
